As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst, I am deeply committed to empowering children and young adults with autism to reach their full potential through a compassionate, engaging, and enjoyable approach. I hold a master’s degree in Special Education from Texas A&M University and have completed additional coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. This educational background equips me with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement effective behavior intervention programs tailored to each individual’s needs.
As the owner of Stepping Stone ABA, I prioritize professional development for my staff while collaborating closely with clients and their families to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment that ensures the best possible outcomes. Prior to establishing my practice in 2021, I gained a wealth of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis over the course of a decade. I became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2014, having previously served as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst for two years and as a Behavior Technician for another two years, working with children diagnosed with autism and supporting their families.
In addition to my ABA qualifications, I hold a license in Special Psychopedagogy and Social Assistance from Bucharest University in Romania, as well as a Christian Counseling certificate from the Barnabas Counselling Training Consortium in Romania. I have been privileged to work as a special needs therapist in Romania for several years, and I have enjoyed serving as a Sunday School Teacher for nearly a decade, witnessing remarkable transformations in the lives of children.
With my extensive education, training, and experience, I am confident in my ability to support children and young adults with autism in achieving their fullest potential.
My life motto is inspired by Philippians 2:3-4: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
I also cherish the quote by Albert Einstein: “Play is the highest form of research.”
In my personal time, I enjoy painting and gardening, which allow me to express creativity and connect with nature.

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) in 2009, a Master’s degree in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Grand Canyon University in 2016, and Master’s certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Cincinnati in 2017.
I began teaching 8th grade in January 2010 with Temple ISD, and finished my teaching career in 2018 with Belton ISD where I taught a variety of subjects and grades 4-8. I spent a year as behavior specialist for BISD before switching to “clinic life” in June 2019. I currently am a supervising BCBA at Stepping Stone ABA as well as the contracting BCBA for Academy ISD. In addition to my love for helping kids and their families function better together, I have a passion for helping bridge the gap between the education system and the world of ABA. I firmly believe the best way to support the growth and generalization of skills is when all of the “professionals” in a child’s life are able to work collaboratively.
When I’m not at work, I’m at home with my husband and our two kiddos, Brantley (3rd Grade) and Bristol (Kindergarten). Our goal is to find as many ways to make memories as a family, and one of our favorite activities is camping (more so glamping…). If I happen to come up with a few minutes of “me time” I love to enjoy a book and hope I can make it through a cup of coffee without reheating it 5 times.
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.” – Maya Angelou

Probably the most fun in my career path was when I managed a scuba store in Tucson, Arizona. It was a way to work with people, afford diving with my kids, be creative, and help people overcome any fears with being in the water. Being a scuba diver offered me the ability to go to places around the world and make new friends I wouldn’t have experienced.
I had an amazing career working at Gates Learjet as a Quality auditor. Working around these beautiful planes and their exotic interiors was an amazing adventure.
My longest career of 24 years started with Hughes Aircraft Company which later became Raytheon Missile Systems, advancing from a buyer in supply chain to a Materiel Program Manager for different missile programs. This encompassed communicating and coordinating with engineers, Program Managers and suppliers to achieve missile deliverables and on-time delivery of Missiles. Duties included items such as various Six Sigma efforts, data collection and monitoring, materiel negotiations, financial and data reporting and customer meeting support. The best part of the job was traveling throughout the US and some International suppliers. Learning different cultural differences gave me such a perspective on the world and being within it in other cultures. Seeing the landscapes across the US and Europe was such a gift.
My life motto as a young career female was - ‘Work hard’, “Play hard”. Nowadays it’s focused on “Balance and Boundaries being the key to taking care of self”, or “work smart, play joyfully”.
Working at Stepping Stones ABA is a job come true for me. I get to work with amazing people, hang around children, and support you with your need.
